Hi - I'm replying!

But I am afraid we havent replied as we have no more to offer that we can find.

Perhaps you can ask around around any living descendants for any more info. Or just keep thinknig of any where else where there might be a clue.

For example Did GW ever return from India? Is that where he died?

Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Hello,

I just stumbled across this site in my Internet meanderings....and it looks like we are related!!

My father is Trevor Robinson, the son of Arthur Ernest Robinson (and Nancy Kohloff).

Up until now I have been unable to locate any shred of Robinson family history prior to my grandfather Arthur Ernest, so this is an amazing breakthrough for me!

Please contact me by email Email addy removed.  Please use our secure Personal Messaging system to exchange private information.  New users will need to post 3 messages before they can send and receive messages

cheers
Neil Robinson (Australia)

Hi Arthur

I received your personal message but this site does not allow me to reply to you until I have made at least three postings.

I tried to post my email address here but it has been removed by the administrator.

It looks like we are cousins. Hopefully we will eventually get in touch.

cheers
Neil Robinson

Hi Neil,

My mother Betty died 4 years ago and left me a lot of papers that she had, Birth certificate for George William, mt dad's discharge papers from his convoy day's, also my mum and dad's marriage certificate which shows your dad as being his witness and someone called Maxwell Cuffley.

Who is Maxwell Cuffley??

My first question is ...how is your dad ? hope he is well.
I have been trying to find out where he was in Australia for some time now but have been unsuccessful and then I receive an email from you.

I have been trying to do some research on our family for about a year now and have got as far as determining that George William married Laura Lucilla but I could not find out when he went to India ????

I am hoping now that Uncle Trevor is on the scene that he could throw some light on this.

More importantly I would like to know where my dad was born ?
Infact I would like to know a lot more about my dad.

As I was born on the 13 January I was obviously named Arthur Ernest as well.

We need to communicate via our own email addresses, I have a lot more news and would also love to hear how everyone in your family is.

My mum used to tell me that my dad always spoke very highly about your dad as did my mum, she thought he was wonderful.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Regards......

Arthur.................
