Stanway IGI batch number?

Could anyone please tell me what the IGI batch number would be for a birth in Stanway, Colchester around 1862?

That was my first port of call  but unfortunately Stanway isn't listed. Might it come under another district?

tried googling it (and including GenUKI) ?

St Albrights crops up, but thats not in the IGI - maybe ask Essex Archives in Colchester - think they have an email service ?

According to the good 'ole reference of Phillimore's Atlas & Index of Parish Registers, the parish of Stanway is not in the IGI

Hi here is the web link to the Essex record office in Chelmsford, the Colchester branch closed I think.

You could try emailing them and asking about the Stanway records, the church is St Albrights and the baptisms, marriages and burials are at Chelmsford on microfiche.

Hi Janet,

Just had a look on the ERO's SEAX system, the Stanway PRs are not online.  An Image Search  for "stanway parish register" only brought up the 1918 to 1948 Colchester division Electoral Registers, which include Stanway.
