This is a long shot that you are still looking but my great great great grandmother is the sister of Matthew.

Matthew's mother is a Sarah Bellamy. She was a resident in Coningbsy and was born about 1825 in Billinghay. Her parents were Richard and Susannah Bellamy.  She died 23rd April 1860 and was buried in Sutton St Edmund on 29th April 1860.

Matthew's father was a James Holmes of Walcott and he was born around 1826 in Walcott. Parents were John and Elizabeth Holmes. He died in 1882 I believe.

As far as I am aware James and Sarah never married, even though it seems that they had 5 children together. James remains unmarried on ever Census return he appears so.

There is a Bastardy hearing against James for the maintenance of Emma, daughter of Sarah Bellamy.

Hope this helps and that you are still actively looking.
