ive waited and waited for the last areas to be transcribed (my area of research), had e-mail from 1911 saying all of england now transcribed so i bought credits

they are not transcribed, i have searched for 6 different family members who i know existed and they arent on 1911

not a happy bunny

expect they are there - just poorly transcribed - altho FindMyPast will stick to their guns about the quality of transcription.

have you exploited the 'wildcard' search feature ?

Inicky .. just a thought, are you putting too much information into the search, sometimes this is more of a hindrance than a help .. ?

We aren't allowed to do a look up for you, but if give us a few details we might be able to check on the index for you, to see if they are there.

Click on 'show advanced fields'.
On the next page enter the name you want and try checking the 'variants of name' box.

Who are you looking for?
