Hi William,

Got the files ok, thanks.  WOW  :o, what a lot of information.  Its going to take me a while to digest and see if it matches with what I have.  This will keep me busy for a while.

Ritchie I gave your link to my dad.
Aunt Jessie in particular had a lot of photos of the clan, as well as my grandfather
My dad is getting them together so I can forward to you.
This is very cool.
Can you talk to your dad about the cousin you referred to?
Cheers

Hi William,

I have read through the files you sent me and compared them with the info I have.

Interesting stuff in file 1 about the family name and John Edmondson.  I've added a couple of files about John.

It took me a while to match up the info in file 2 with what I have, but I got there.  Most of what I have ties in with your info.  There are a few things that are puzzling me, like, where did you get the info about Samuels brothers, George and Alexander Walker From?  I cant find any records, so far.  Also you have a Jean(nie) b c1887 to William and Ann Jane.  Again I can find no trace of her.

I have made up a list of some of the Wilkinsons that I have which I am going to check before I send it to you.

Hello again

I have attached the Wilkinson file for you to look at.  It covers birth, marriage and death for Samuel Sn, Samuel Jn and William Briggs and there children.

I have some other info that I wll compile and sent at a later date.

If you have any questions just ask.

I have attached another file for John Edmondson.

Hello Ritchie - I believe we are related! My g. grandfather was William Briggs, my Grandfather Andrew Wilkinson, my Mum is his daughter Mary (Molly) Wilkinson ! I think William who you were chatting to is my Mum's cousin! I'm going to have to hunt out all my information and have a look. You were interested in Hep. Effie! I know where she is buried. Perhaps I could get a photo of her headstone for you?
What a small world!

Hi Louise,
Good to hear from another family member.  Welcome to RootsChat. :D

Your Grandfather is my Grandfather, Richard David, older brother.

William sent me some info his father collected about the Wilkinsons.  Your Grandfather married an Isa Elliott and they had two daughters, Ella and Molly.  Is this correct?

I've been to Wellogate cemetery and saw Hephzibahs grave so no need for a photo. Thanks anyway.

I would be happy to share the info I have with you.  I will have to tell my dad you have been in touch and my Aunt Irene, who still lives in Hawick.
