Thank you Celia, the Brimstage one is interesting, it is such a small place. I can't find a birth for a likely George though, 1830 is too young (parents William and Mary of Brimstage). I know William was a farmer in Brimstage because he is on the tithe map of 1836-1851 but there is no George. How can you be a farmer with no land?

A bit of an update:-
William was born in Barnston in 1793, his wife Mary Ann was born in Liverpool and moved to Brimstage (part of Bromborough) after they married at Woodchurch in 1819. Children John, Elizabeth, Hannah, William, George, James and Mary Ann.  William died in 1852 aged 58 and she took over the farm with her daughter Mary Ann.
In 1871 she was in Claughton cum Grange (aged 64!) as a nurse, daughters Elizabeth and Mary Ann both having died. Son George and his wife Ellen Griffith, had taken over the running of the farm in Brimstage, they later moved to Hill Top Farm in Thornton Hough.
Mary Ann Waring died Wirral 1873 aged 73

Thanks dawnkaren but that is not the right entry for the 1851 census, this is correct, maybe someone has submitted it wrongly as it is not on the official census? This has Waring spelt with an E, which is quite common.

Event Type    Census
Event Date    1851
Event Place    Brimstage Bromborrow, Cheshire, England
William Wareing    Head    M    56    Brimstage, Cheshire
Mary Wareing            Wife            F      54    Liverpool, Lancaster
Mary Ann Wareing    Daughter    F    13    Brimstage, Cheshire

There are lots of William Warings and the marriage was probably to Mary Ann Dawson on 6th Dec 1819 at Woodchurch. The one you have given is far too late as they had four children by that date.
