I've psp 8-X2 (I'm a pack rat) but usually on use X2.
Thanks gadget =)

Forgot to say that I desaturated first to get rid of the blue - you don't have to change to greyscale. Just go to Hue/Saturation/Lightness in PSP and move the saturation slider down until the blue cast disappears.

Give a shout if you need any more help  :)

Thinking about it a bit more - I think it's 1960-1963.

Before that there were funny rouched (?sp) elastic ones.

Hi all

This thread's just what I needed!  I've never been on this board before but I've had brilliant hints tonight!

I think I'm being a bit slow though.  I'm hoping to scan up my sixties, large negative black and whites.  They're in rolls at the moment.

A couple of points I'm lost with.  When you said you did it *Like a normal photo" before inverting the image, , did you just put it on the glass?

Also, the alternative method, with the bright light, do you have to put it behind some filter to stop the image of the light bulb coming up on the photo?

Sorry it's a bit of a shopping list.

Thank you again.

Best wishes

It can be done.  Scan and it will look like the "Raw" one.  Then using even MS Paint invert Colours.
