help please for 2 men & a pig (not for the squeamish!)
« on: Thursday 16 April 09 13:14 BST (UK) »
Here goes, wasn't sure whether to post or not, as the subject may be a bit off-putting to some, will remove it if anyone objects, but they're my ancestors (not the pig) - it's a bit of social history, and I'd love to see what you brilliant people can do with it
But please, no colour !  :)
Many thanks in advance,   Barbara  :)

They were obviously very proud of their handiwork!  I believe the man on the left to be John Sivill, born 1838, Lincolnshire, so am guessing the date of the pic as early 1900s - he was a bricklayer, not a butcher, so this must have been a home-reared pig for family consumption
Sorry, no name given for the pig  ;D
