Ive just looked at his medal index card....he had no overseas service in WW1 so as such wasnt entitled to campaign medals.
He was entitled to a silver war badge and his entry is on ancestry silver war badge rolls.
He would have served within uk on home service.

Thomas 1907 age 1 week
Catherine 1907 age 39
Alfred 1915 age 47
Margaret 1917 age 26 is this Georges eldest sister.
Patrick 1918 age 7 months born 1917

and a Catherine age 5 months in 1899 buried as surname ORCHID but comes up for address of Montpeliar.

I have burial records for Alfred and Catherine Orchard-father and mother of the family but i had no details of the children's burial so thank you very much. I will go on Glasnevin site to find these. Regards

Just in case you havent found it Elizabeth Orchard married Edward Dowling Apr June 1919 Dublin North vol 2 page 491 there are births appearing in Athy 1920s for Dowling/Orchard parents may be them.
