This may not be possible but I am just wondering if anybody knows of any little trick to narrow down the search results on "Family History Online" http://www.familyhistoryonline.net ?

For instance, a search for burials in a county - I would only be interested in those that ocurred in a particular parish but it would appear that you need to search by county and then view each search result individually to determine which parish is listed.

 you can search by parish but only if that parish is spreading over into another county ie Birmingham ................annoying ain't it?

Hiya, picked up your message on GoogleAlerts and it made me register!
As a programmer for FamilyHistoryOnline can I ask you to be patient for a month or so. We have a new search engine in beta test that will help you do want you want. A big difficulty is the lack of standardization of parish and place names.

That would be fantastic if the new search engine works out and makes selective searching easier

Yes, that will be great.  It's so annoying when you have to pay to see lots of potentially unwanted entries.
