Single word I can make no sense of
« on: Saturday 18 April 09 21:53 BST (UK) »
Dear all,
I have a copy of the will of my 5 Greats grandfather, but  can make no sense of the third word. The will starts with 'Proved at...' and then a word that looks like 'Daibon'. It means nothing to me especially as the will later says it was in the county of Surrey. I've  only come across the word Daibon as a tribe in the Bible. Am I reading it correctly or does it actually say something completely different (see attached photo).
Thanks in advance,
Brian

Gosh. Thanks for that. I absolutely hadn't seen that - and still can't actually - but it makes complete sense as he died in what is now Heygate St. just south of the Elephant and Castle, but what was then (1818) in Surrey.

I think it's Dalston as the D is the same as the D in District further along.
