Hello,

I have been researching HJC Hutton as well, he is my great great grandfather. As far as I can tell he was born in 1824 son of John Hutton and Elizabeth Norris of Aspley Guise in the UK. He arrived in South Africa on the 18th March 1850 on the Edward. He married Mary Dickens neice of Charles who is buried in the Commercial Road cemetery in Pietermaritzburg. Henry apparently died in Pretoria but I have no details of his gravesite. I have other bits and pieces of info, what is your interst in him and what do you know so far?

Hi HDH.

Welcome to Rootschat.  :)

Kitty Hutton married Thomas Sibley in 1785 therefore the Huttons
comes into my lineage through Kitty.

I do have some information of the Aspley Hutton's.

Kitty's brother was Joseph, whose son was John, the father of Henry.

Does your info on the Huttons go back further than Joseph?

Hi Hayden.

All the parish records for Bedfordshire are available on the Familysearch
site under I.G.I.

I have the transcript for Aspley Guise besides Husborne Crawley
and Eversholt and many more.

I myself was going upwards not down the lineage.

I hope you may find what you need to assist you.
