Sorry if there,s been problems with this posting. I found that Ann  Lynch was born in Monaghan and after Googling came to the conclusion it was in Tyrone.
I,m not at all familiar with Ireland and that was the reason I first posted it on the non specific site.

Hope this is where it belongs.

What a carry on............firstly, so difficult for you to read your Census entry and then, when one is not in the same country, and not familiar with the geography, it is so difficult to know where to post.   

I did the same, quite inadvertently, when I discovered that some of my Aitken relatives came from St Ives in England.
Only St Ives, I had ever heard of, was in Cornwall and I posted in that site.   

But, oh no, my Aitkens, came from St Ives, in Doushire  (now Huntingdonshire, England).  So, even duplicate town names in the UK can trip one up!   

And, as you discovered, even google can confuse!   

For our Lynchs we need to obtain some death/marriage certs further back to see from where in Ireland they originated, before settling, mainly around Sculcoates, Hull, Yorkshire, England, and some from Sheerness, in Kent, England.

We will keep in close touch to help each other.......
