Keen eyes for some death certs please :)
« on: Tuesday 21 April 09 20:41 BST (UK) »
I've got two death certs from my aunt, but my eyes aren't quite what they used to be and there are a few words I either can't work out or need confirmation of please :)

I've got all apart from the coroner and registrar names, and the word "certificate ?? from" :)

Again, coroner and registrar names... also is the year 1852? I can't read his son's address (something park), the place of death (? Martin's Hospital) and the cause of death... is it carcinoma?

Sorry about the list of things... thank you in advance x

Hi Ayashi,

Death Cert.:

Registrar: R L(e?) Auth. Registrar
Coroner: R L(e?) Auth.

Same signature oddly.  ???

Not absolutely positive about "Auth." now I look at it again.

Checking the others ...

The first cert has a different coroner. The name is in the informant bit. Looks something like "Dines"

I think the first one might have "Certificate received from J H Dinas, Coroner"

Cause of death: Carcinoma Stomach

Note how all the "i" dots and "t" crosses float far to the right.

Agree with Paul "carcinoma stomach".  Think it is certified by C A Bond  MD who is a doctor not coroner.  Fairly sure the date is 1952 not 1852, his 8s are different

lol yeah, sorry 1952, that was a typo :D I seem to live in the 1800s, ha ha. I was more thinking about the "2" but if you agree with 1952 then I'm happy. :)

Thanks. Yeah, doctor, lol. My brain is everywhere today. Thank you for the name :) thanks x
