Private William TAYLOR'S widow ***COMPLETED***

I've just discovered a relative of mine died in WW1 .He was in the 16th Australian Imperial Force.I found 58 pages of his army records.From that I got the name of his wife -Jane Palmer Taylor.I'm not sure if Palmer is a middle name or maiden surname. They married c1914. William was from Aberdeen.There is no record of their marriage in scotlandspeople.Was she Scottish too?Did they marry in Australia? In 1922 his widow's address was;corner of Kennedy & Stirling Streets,Northam,W.A. I would like to find out what became of her.

There is no electoral enrolment in 1936.  No remarriage in WA to 1949 and no death in WA to 1953.

If may be worth contacting them ie if you wish to, as it is mentioned on their website that not all burial records are online.

Tthat should be on her death certificate.

She may have been creamted and the ashes scattered quite common from the 1980's on.

Robyn.  The Bendigo Crematorium was not built until 1989. Perhaps having found her death registration may be sufficient for flst.

Thanks cando, I will go onto googlemaps later on. I'm wondering if there is a library who'll do look ups in the local newspaper to see if there's a funeral notice or obituary for Jane? I've had success with them in the past.
