rush in Galway???

Hello everyone, I am new here. I've trying to find more information on Patrick Rush, so far I have found out that he was born in Galway. He was born March 17,1841 and he married Catherine Welsh , not sure if they married in Ireland or United States.
Patrick did serve in the Union Army during the Civil War from 1861-1862, he was discharged due to an injury (what injury?).
Catherine Welsh was born in county Mayo in 1845 and died 1899 in Rhode Island, USA.
They had 4 children;
                          William 1863
                           Mary    1870
                           Henry  1870
                           Edward 1873
       all the children were possibly born in Pennsylvania, USA.

Basically I am still looking for other Rush's that may be still in Ireland or possibly others that are related to my line of Rush.
