It is noteworthy also that in 1940, Charles did not know his father's address, but did know Yvonne's.
Likewise in 1942
In 1944 Yvonne had a diferent address, which Charles gives, but still does not know his father's whereabouts
By 1949, father and sister are together at the same address. [Cando, electoral]

Now, I cannot help wondering whether Herbert and Sylvia were not in Qld during those years.
