Ashwell HUGHES emigrated from England to Austrailia after 1935

Hi

This is a long shot I know but I believe that my gran's great uncle (uncle Ashwell as he was known)  emigrated to Australia.  Here are his details.

Ashwell HUGHES  or John Ashwell Hughes  born 1905 in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, England married Elsie Bruton in 1935 (in England) I am not sure when they emigrated exactly but it was after their marriage in 1935.  There may have been a daughter called Carol.

I cannot see a death in Victoria up  to 1984, but  his parents names  would be  helpfull  to  look  for  his  death.

I  cannot see him on our National Archives as serving in WW2 either

Thanks for your interest.  Ashwell's parents were William Hughes and Leah (nee Jones).
