 As I start to flag, you should be now fortified by a Full English Breakfast ( or whatever the Australians call such a feast, so I will hand over to you... I am browsing thru the Bishop's transcripts of Simonburn Parish.. online on LDS site.

 There are 257 Simonburn " images". The twins were on image 137. The drowning was on image 122.

These are copies of parish records sent periodically to the Bishop in Durham, Co Durham.

No English breakfast for me (despite being a Yorkshire Lass)  Fruit and yoghurt I'm afraid.
Thanks for all your help - my subscription to ancestry doesnt cover parish records but I might be able to find them elsewhere. You've been amazing. Sleep well!!

They are free to access from within Familysearch site of LDS.  I am hopeless at sending links... but it gets posted just about everyday on this message board.
