Alfred Woodroffe b 1872
« on: Thursday 23 April 09 22:14 BST (UK) »
He was with the China Inland Mission and was killed in the Boxer uprising in 1900.  Were there any articles in the Loughborough press between July 1900 and December 1902.  He was actually born at Costock but lived with his parents Benjamin and Sarah in Loughborough.

Yes, Leicester Chronicle - Saturday 29 September 1900, pg 3 carries a couple of letters.
The memorial was covered by Daily News (London) - Saturday 30 August 1902, pg 5.
