There is an Alice MAtilda Rees  born 1865  but  no  Martha

Who was Alice Matilda born to?

Martha's parents were Richard & Christana REES.

No Rees birth in SA  to Richard and Christina

Martha Rees  born 29/8/1865 to Daniel Rees  and Elizabeth JAne Lear at Portland Estate 37/67

There is a little in BISA about Richard REES and his two marriages. Have you this info?

Their marriage reg on the index is not REES...been mistranscribed as REESE.

I have searched using wildcards...even just mother Ch* BLAKE and the above regs are the only ones that are showing.

Nudge I am puzzled why I can't find this birth....unless of course it wasn't registered.    Have you a baptism record?
