No - no record at all.

Only info I have is out of BISA. How many births went unregisted back then?

Just a  thought

There is a daughter Margaret BLAKE born 21st June 1860 to George Blake and Christina McFeat at Light District Burra Reg  Book106  Page401

She married  23/9/1885 at BC Church Marabeel Book144 Page 1080 to  John OLIVER aged 27 father Robert Oliver.

Perhaps  the BISA has it wrong :o

Noted  this marriage as well

Isabella BLAKE aged 22 father George Blake  married at the Residence of Richard REECE Marabeel 12/8/1878 Book166page528 to Benjamin WATTS aged 34 father George Thomas WATTS

Hi Jenn :)

The REES Richard information I accessed in BISA only mentions Christina nee BLAKE [nee McFEAT]as 2nd wife...not date of marriage or issue.  Info does not include the nee MCFEAT.

According to the marriage index they were married on 18 Feb 1864.

Cheers

I had assumed from Nudge' comment  that he had got Martha's details from  the BISA

There is further contributed information on The South Australians 1836-1885 with was published in 1990 to complement the Biographical index.   It is a separate disc on my version of BISA...I only search there if I find nothing on BISA.  Sorry about the confusion.

Her marriage
RHYMER Albert Henry  36 Single  Father Joseph Pollit RHYMER
REES Martha 31  Single Father Richard REES

Hi
A son of the above couple was born in September 1898 born at HAWKER.  Joseph Albert.
He enlisted in 1918 and was a Chemist's apprentice.  His father was a chemist and he and MARTHA gave signed consent for his enlistment to overseas duty.
There is a letter from Joseph dated 1962 giving his SA address.
