William F Troughton. census look-up please

I am looking for: William F Troughton, born 1837, ;-on the 1841/51/61 censuses.
His parents were Robert ad Hannah

William married Anne Davyes in 1863 in Westmorland
I think they went to the Usa during  in  the late 1860's

That is a very interesting link - if this is the same William as I am finding, he certainly went up in life from very humble beginnings.

The is a puzzle to me; - how did William F Troughton born in poverty on Fellside;-a moulders apprentice in his early teens, become a doctor/surgeon in the US;-  how he manage this elevation in life.

My Troughton ancestors came from Fellside Kendal, I have been researching the family for about seven years now.
I recently received an email that made me think there could possible be a family connection between WRT and my ancestors, but my membership on ancestry had run out .
