Ritchie
« on: Saturday 25 April 09 10:58 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find a record of birth of William Alexander Ritchie, born in C1825 in Fermanagh. I would also be thrilled if I could get ANY info on his marriage to Catherine (born C1828) or record of their children's births. They had 5 children I think in the 1850s, three of them were Eliza, Maria and William. They lived in Kish??? prior to emigrating to Australia in 1862. Any help gratefully appreciated. Maxene :)

Place 'Kish???' is possibly Kesh. Do you know what religion the family were in Ireland? Civil registration of births, deaths and Catholic marriages began 1864 (from 1845 for other marriages).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
