I think it is a mistranscription. I've an idea what it could be, but would like a 2nd or 3rd opinion. Should be William and Mary Ann and a few sprogs.

agree with Bodemeade and Ellen's birth is registered as that. You could confirm with other births and the marriage perhaps?

Theres a couple of William BODIMEADE marriages in the mid-1880s - Hendon and Chelsea to Marys ....
