Hi, I'm descended from Mahalahs parents Mahala Youngs and Thomas Howgego b1797 (or maybe Thos Hougego as above) and can trace back to Thomas's father Thomas, then his father Robert Hugego. This may not be of much interest to you but we are trying to find out where the Hugegoe came from and why it was changed to Howgego, Hougego etc. I'd also love to find out about Mahala Youngs b 1822. According to the family tree I've been given, your Mahalah may have been born in Ardleigh Essex unlike the rest of her later siblings all born Manningtree.

mahala young is my great great great grandmother, my name is andrew howgego and have the family tree traced to 1695 then it is gone, i have a tree made up on another site. just thought i would say hi as i just joined up
