Found record of their marriage on IGI. They married in Kidderminster which is near Wolverley.

Bray is spelt Brey and Cecilia is Priscilla Keight born Lower Neen, Shropshire. So she's been known as Priscilla,Celia and Cecilia! On BMD for her death she is known as Cecilia. So Im presuming thats why Eliza (who married Thomas Boucher)named one of her daughter Cecilia- who -  coincidently went onto to marry a Bray an Alfred Bray!

Thanks Jen. Our messages crossed and Ive just read your last posting!

Very strange- but I will have another look and try and clear up the mystery. My thoughts were that Jeremiah must be illigitamate when I saw there was no fathers name on the IGI -only Phebe.

I did wonder about Priscilla!

Should have a father's name on the certificate, if there was one!

Hi Jen,

Sussed it now!

Phebe married William Hall in 1836 so Jeremiah must have been illigitamate. Her parents were Francis Bray and Margaret Tasker.

Thanks for starting me off on this getting the info I couldn't find on Eliza!
