Hi Stevie, I dabble in watercolours but completely new to this type of process. Not in the same league as the wonderful talent out there, this is my very first attempt at restoring someone else's photo. Renaud  ;D

Thank you for the comments Rabbit B, as an afterthought I thought I would hit the 'high pass sharpen' button and this appeared to improve my first effort, what do you think ???.

Wow, another great piece of work, and for a first time attempt too! I'm not entirely sure the frame is to my taste, put probably quite in keeping with the age of the photo.

OOps, I am sorry for hogging this board, but I think you are right Steve. Three robust gentleman with a lace frame, what planet am I on. What about this plain and simple oval, much better..... :-\

Great stuff, much more appropriate for the 19th century men! ;D But if you all like to see the way 19th century men were dressed when they were babies, check this out!

It's my Great Grandfather Sidney Williams, taken in around 1900 when he was two years old. And then him as I knew him in the early 1970's just before he died.
