hi Iam trying to trace Mary Mcguire she married  Thomas Mcgivern unsure of date?I believe she was
from co.Leitrim. thanks

Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thomas and Marys son william  was born in 1877 is this any help?

Do you know what religion the couple were? civil registration of Catholic marriages began 1864 and other marriages from 1845.
You can search civil registration indexes here:

Search for bride and groom separately and then cross-reference the results to see if there are any matches (same year, registration district, volume and page number) and then you'll know which certificate to order:

There is a son of Thomas McGivern and Mary cGuire listed in IGI (www.familysearch.org): Richard McGivern born 17 Jan.1880 Cloonclare, Co. Leitrim.
