Henry Mosley 2nd Bn Duke of Wellington's

Can anyone help me please?

I'm trying to find something about Henry Mosley who I believe served in the 2nd bn Duke of Wellington's regiment. His service number was (I think) 15445.

I know absolutely nothing else, not even an idea of dates etc!

But my Dad has come up with this information and I can find nothing about this Henry..

He joined up Feb 1915...was discharged with wounds Sept 1916....entitled to British war and Vuctory Medals plus a Silver War Badge...He may have a pension record on ancestry...ill post a copy of his medal card later...where was he from i may be able to get more info later.....

His Pension record if it survives will.....His medal card doesnt...can you tell me where he was from?

I don't know, but probably the West Riding of Yorkshire..

Just looked at Pensions on ancestry and there isnt one for him
However Service Records arent up to surname Mo.....yet so there is still a slight hope his survived the Blitz(30% did!)....Ill have a look through my records and ask a mate who specialises in West Riding Reg see what we can dig up
