This is the lad whose cards are up there ,the guy lived Crookes, Sheffield then his Service Record is on ancestry(how lucky!! ;D)
Its free to download til tomorrow there should be a lot of info for you. :)
You have from this page his wedding details so should be able to get a certificate which should give his dads details :)

Do you have any Mosleys from Staincliffe area of Dewsbury/Heckmondwike? I came across a couple of enlistment lists today from that area with Mosley surnames.

I do.. All my lot are from around there and Dronfield. Problem is I'm only just getting as far as looking at the military aspects of their history, so I don't know who served, when, or where.

I wish I'd done it sooner though, the information available seems to be phenomenal.
