Marvelous - tx very much for the lookup. It really does help - adds Alfred a new family member, and confirms birthplaces of John Price & Margaret (Whitby) Price with the 1851 census. I'll now have a look for Whitby families in the 1841 Clotton census & look for John/Margaret baptisms for the appropriate years in the Tarporley PR's.
