Dolphin's Aston Birmingham
« on: Friday 01 May 09 19:18 BST (UK) »
I have just returned back to my family research after about  a ten year lay-off. I would appreciate any help for a silver surfer to catch up on technology :-) AND what is available these days in terms of Parish records?

My previous research stopped with my 2nd Gt. Grandfather Thomas DOLPHIN b. 8/11/1845 (62 Honey St, Aston) who later pops up in various censors. He married Hannah Massey from Cheedle in 1853. Thomas's birth cert. shows his father as John DOLPHIN & mother Elizabeth DOLPHIN nee Wallis both of Aston, Birmingham.

I need to get access I think to Parish records for Aston if anyone can help or direct me to the relevant web site.

Cannot travel to Records office as I reside abroad ::)
