can anyone who as access to the 1901 images help.
I can't dertermine the occupation of a Farmer James White, from Wigginton.
The transcript is:
In 1901 living at Wigginton Lodge, Wigginton, York (RG12; Piece: 3883; Folio 25; Page 9;ED3; SN4)

a function in Poor Law Union

The word Local overwriten by the statistician makes Nuisance look like Distance
Ron was born in Shepherds Bush and "knew" London fairly well

A relieving officer was an official who took charge of poor or insane persons not otherwise cared for.  He was an official of the poor law union

That occupation adds a bit of interest to that family branch
