« on: Monday 04 May 09 20:29 BST (UK) »
Hi
In the 1861 I have a John Hillman and wife Mary Ann in Newport, birthplace given as Brecon England. Am I missing something here, as I always thought it was in Wales.
thanks

Hi Judith,

Have you looked at the actual image? I think it says simply England, not Brecon at all.

I don't think they're ditto marks - the other ditto marks on the page are different: either do or "
