hi again

just looked at this again and there s a Jessie brown born in Cruden in 1837 to a Margaret Dickie and Alexander Brown  on the IGI so the 1871 census would seem to show Janet Smith  (head) Margaret Dickie (think age should be 53 daughter) and Janet brown (32 granddaughter) and John Youngson should show Great Grandson) definately your family in my opinion.

Here they are on the 1861 census living at Teuchan cruden

Janet Dickie 62
Margaret Dickie 43 
Jessie Brown 23 
John Youngson 9 Mo

Hi, Castle of Auchry is a working farm,so I guess that the farmhouse you googled would be the correct one.
