Hi Anthony,
Many thanks for doing that for me, your kindness is very much appreciated. I will be keeping my fingers crossed in the hope that James' baptism will be found.
Once again, thank you so much, you are very kind.

Hi Anthony,
Sorry for the delay with my reply, I have been away on a short break holiday.

The surname Corbett has been mispelt many ways over the years. I have come across Corbitt, Corbit, Corbut, Corbat and Corbet. There are many types of variation, but at the end of the day, it is still the same name.
The records for a few of my Irish ancestors appear in the Parish records spelt as Corbitt and Corbut, but I think this was probably due to their Irish accent ( how the name was pronounced) and therefore the surname Corbett was spelt wrongly.

Hope this help.
Sincerely,
Lin.

Hi Anthony,
Many thanks for your posting.  It was such disappointing news to learn that my James Corbett's baptism wasn't found at St Annes. I really don't know where else to look?....Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Best wishes & thank you so very much for your kindness Anthony.

Lin.
