You did say any SARGEANT info so here is some snippets from my tree. Susan(na) SARGEANT bapt. 5 Oct 1716 St Clement Hastings the daughter of Henry and Anne (nee GIBBON)mar. 17 July 1707. Her siblings were Mary b1711, Anne b 1709 d 1717, Sarah b 1720 and Anne b 1718. She married John PETTIT on 12 June 1748 in Alciston parish church. They had ten children James b 1748, John b1750/1 d bef1805, Thomas b1753, Elizabeth b 1755, William b 1757 d 1830, Mary b 1759, Richard b 1762 d 1789, Sarah b 1764, Samuel b 1767, David b 1770 d 1837. Susanna died and was burried in Alciston 1 June 1791.
A Martha Marie SARGEANT married Peter PETTIT on 27 Jul 1834 in Bexhill. Son James bapt 26 Nov 1841, Catsfield.
An Edwin SARGENT married Caroline WINBORN 23 Sept 1865. Edwin was the son of Stephen.
