Can't find anyplace in Ireland called 'keil' but are you sure it's in Ireland? You've got a thread on Scotland board looking for 'keil' there already:

I think I may have solved the mystery of my g.g.grandfathers birth place. On a crew list he claimed to have been born in Keil. I have always believed he was born in Ireland but couldn't,t find a Keil.I also found someone on a  passenger list who claimed to have been born in Keil Meath. What I am wondering is if they were both actually born in Kells which I think could sound like Keil with an irish accent. My problem now is how to prove it.
