right my delemer.
i am at the moment doing my family tree on my fathers side and now its time to trace his mother. thing is my father was born in
---- and his mother took off and left him with his father. My farther was aprox 15 at the time. he refused to talk about his mother and until he passed away in 1998 we us children didn't even know our grandmothers name.
looking at his birth cert it says mothers name Annie Elizabeth Humphreys/ Formally Jennings. i have traced her marrage to William Jennings in 1926 ( before she met my grand father ) she had to 2 children to William Jennings.

---- ( Twins ) as i said she split up with William and then met my grandfarther and then my farther was born in
----.
i just cant even seem to trace a death for her. last thing i know she had moved down south somewhere. i am on ancestry's and got no joy there. my grandfather and grandmother never married.
just seem to be stuck in a rut and no where to look.
