My great grandfather was also Louis (Lewis) Humphreys, his daughter Naomi is my grandmother. I live in New Zealand. I have quite a bit of information on the Humphreys and the Walshe's but am really interested in how Joseph Jacob Humphreys came to be in Dublin as was born in the Netherlands. I have his father Mordecai (sp?) as leaving the Netherlands to go to Pennsylvania but can't find Irish census records showing Joseph Jacob Humphreys in Ireland or a mother for Joseph? I have most of the information already posted here but any extra information would be appreciated
