Hi

I have checked the 1881 image and she is 36.  If correct, that would make her 56 in 1901 and 58 when she died so I suppose 60 at death isn't too far out.  She was 29 in 1871

I just wish I could find her in 1901 to check her birthplace.  Bit of a difference in the 1871 occ for John - County Court bailiff - to boot & shoemaker in 1881

Can't find a marriage that matches but one of the childrens birth certs will show her maiden name

One last thought, Amelia remarried to GEORGE OSLIFF in Festiniog and am wondering if Clarina may be with them on the 1901..if you could check for me, please  :)

Many thanks for your help Carole.

Hi

No - she is not with George & Amelia in 1901.  I have searched under Catherine and Clarina and just under her surname but nothing shows up

I have also tried the free 1901 index on the PRO website as sometimes I find entries there that are not shown on Ancestry

Hi

Yes, I tried '1901censusonline' with no luck.

Oh well, I'll put her to oneside for the time being.

Thanks again,it's much appreciated. Everyone on here is so helpful.
