Registerts at the COI Library in Churchtown Sis , typical I remembered the Church and you only remembered the workmen out sunbathing giggles

Hi Shane,Hi sis', I was thinking of the wrong church
when I said it had a connection with seamen.
yes I remember that one too.there was a graveyard too,
not sure if they just cemented it over or if the graves were
removed altogether.on sunny days you'd see all the workers
out sunbathing in the park.amazing that I passed by that building
all my life and never knew the family connection.I think the
national library may have the register on microfilm, just going to
 check their catalogue.

Hi eadaoin ,Try my sisters link below,it looks very different to
the way I remember it.The railings to the left of the church were
also across the front and as far as I remember it did'nt look that
colour either.still its nice to know its being preserved in some form
I did'nt find a photo of the way it looked originally yet.

Mornin' all,we have now seen the original
parish register for St Mary's church of ireland
(Mary st ) and of course the original entry for
William and Bridget, did'nt find any new facts
because it looks like their children were baptised
elsewhere.the witnesses signature was a little
clearer and we discovered their surnames
were both 'Green'.
Thanks to eadaoin and Purpeller for your replies
and many thanks Shane for saving us a long trawl
through all the st Marys.
