George (Sonny) Alfred MONAGHAN death - **Completed**

No death notice, only a funeral notice which says that the funeral of George Alfred Monaghan of 39 Henry St Ashfield, is at Chapel of Eastern Suburbs Crematorium, 16 April 11am.  Funeral Director Bruce Maurer, North Sydney.

Sad there was no death notice. I wonder if the funeral director is still in Business.

Thanks for the one for Ida Selina Brodie but have found out she is not the one I am looking for. My Ida died in Auckland, NZ and now have a photo of the headstone.

Am now waiting to see if there is a headstone or not for George.

I going to get death cert in late July early August to see who the informant is and date of death.

I just googled "Bruce Maurer" and the firm seems to be still there.  I know a couple of R'chatters have had great results from contacting undertakers.  Good luck with it!

it bounced all the way back to my inbox

Found an email thing on the white pages for the funeral director so have emailed them through that.

Since his parents were not on the BDM on-line that would mean they are not on the cert either

Never heard back from the funeral director so will get the death transcription at end of the month.

I have another question

As I have found all the births to James MONAGHAN and Florence M MARYOTT
I am wonder if it is worth while to a full transcription for one of them only and part ones for the other children

Can someone please advise me

Am going to order George Alfred Monaghan's death transcription late next week and am also thinking of getting his parents marriage one and the one for Florence M Monaghan's marriage to Earnest L Murray as well
