Address in Poulner, Ringwood

Could anyone help me to ascertain if an address is still in Poulner. It is a house called Parramatta. The occupant was Alfred Crocker a Master Mariner and his wife Sara Ann. The house was named after his ship Parramatta. It is listed in the 1911 Kelly's.

The house might have had a name change;  have you got a street name from a census or certificate?

I found the family as it happens via another forum to be able to find your family were in the 1911 census were living at Broadshard Lane Ringwood just off southampton road as of todays maps.


Sadly no house name or number given in transcription view.

None of the properties in Broadshard Lane is currently name Parramatta.  They all seem to be numbered.

Thank you all for your replies, I have a Kelly's directory entry of 1911 and Alfred Crocker is listed as private resident at Parramatta, and there is a 1911 census of Sarah ann Crocker at Paramatta. I presume Alfred was at sea. I believe there was a daughter Alice somewhere around, whether she was with Sarah I cant tell unless I get the census.
