Born 1890, fought in WW1 invalided out of army after being seriously wounded in July 1916, subsequently worked in the Telegraph Department of the War Office until his death in 1938. Does anyone know any further details?

Thanks for those Jorose; I presume that the indexing which made him Maud was done by a non native English speaker, just like the censuses!
