Only discovered I have an ancestor called Helen LAING this am.

Helen was born: abt 1724 and married a Thomas SHEARER in Stronsay Orkney.

CHILDREN:(all born Stronsay, Orkney).

1.  Thomas  SHEARER b:  1745
2.  Isobel SHEARER b: 1747
3.  Peter Shearer b: 1749'
4.  Margaret Shearer b: 1752
5.  Marjory Shearer b: 1755
6.  Thomas Shearer b: 1758 (1. Thomas must have died).
7.  Jean Shearer b: 1761.
