1861 census
« on: Thursday 29 April 04 08:37 BST (UK) »
Has anyone out there got the 1861 census for Nottinghanshire please and could do a look up for me?
I am searching for a James Hopewell living in Sherwood or carrington.

Hi there Mrs J

Trawling through the older messages on the boards that I moderate, I came across your message of April 2004 that did not solicit any relies.

I did notice since that date that you have posted 16 messages, and without going back and reading them all - does this mean you are making headway with your research.

As the boards now have considearbly more members that when you posted that first message - would you like to re-submit your query adding any further new data.

Thanks for your enquiry Chris. He has been found and in fact the notice can now be removed. How do i do that?
Thanks again.

Hi
Checked 1861 census for James Hopwell I did not find any Jame,s at all in the whole of Nottingham that I have.
I have a Burial 10 December 1867 age 80 Abode Nottm Burial Carrington notes Broad Street that is in Nottm not that address in 1861.
