Here is my connection. Note 3 different spellings for the same family.
.................
() James Meneilly married Jenny Arthurs (born about 1833 – died 7 Nov. 1894 – d/o William) on 17 January 1853 at 2nd Presbyterian Church, Islandmagee: witnesses; William White & James McMurtry. They had 8 children.
...........

Don't know if it's against the rules to say I will be assisting the Newtownabbey branch of the NIFHS at their Family History Day in Ballyclare townhall tomorrow 23 May 2023

Call by and say hello.

eddiec,

Have fun.

Also, does the following from the pre-1858 wills at PRONI have any connection to your lines?

Connor will made 25 March 1802 Proved 9 April 1802
Andrew M'Calmont of Island-Magee to son Thomas M'Calmont (pounds)4 . 4s divides his farm between daughter Mary M'Calmont son John M'Calmont & 2 sons in law James M'Neilley & John Grexson. Mentions neighbours Geargary Mans & James Lemmons
Executors John M'Calmont  James Mulligan
Witnesses James Mulligan Gregory Mann

Grexson is likely Gregg.

As all the Christian names of the M'Calmonts run through my family I'm hoping to find a connection.

Keep well.
