Occupation help, please

This is Charles Chappell in the 1901 Census in Newark.

Can anyone help me make out his occupation.  I can see WAREHOUSE, but what is the second word?

I can see an r in it, I think, and I believe the final letter is e.

Any suggestions much appreciated.
